Monday was more of an introduction day for what our week will be like doing work experience for Redhat. First Mark and Cathal told us how they ended up in the IT sector and at Redhat, and how long they have been at Redhat for.

So, on Tuesday we were taught about bash/sudo, which you run in the terminal as a way to run commands. Afterwards, we did a Git workshop, where we were taught about Github, how to sign up, and create pull requests and edit our blog post.

So, for Wednesday, we spent a lot of time on team building excerises. First, we got split into teams to try make a racetrack for a ball which has two loops. Everyone failed, but we managed to get 1.5 loops, and came joint first. It was good, and we split up the workload well, splitting ourselves into working on the loop, and the actual track. I got to speak to people I haven’t spoken to yet and it was great. .
