Day 1

On day 1 I arrived at 9 and I was introduced to our supervisers for the week and got to know the rest of the people in my group. Then we got a tour of the Red Hat facility. After that we played Mario kart and pool, the games were very competitive and fun. Shortly after the games we got a 1 hour lunch break which was very relaxing. After the lunch break I learned about Agile and we were then put into groups and did a simulation of shareholders in agile where they told us how to design our potato heads and in groups we worked together to build our product. My groups product was a star wars themed potato head and I think it turned out quite good. Overall day 1 was very enjoyable and I learned a lot in the Agile workshop. I also enjoyed getting to know loads of new people.

day 2

On day 2 I arrived at 9 and at 9:30 we started off with a stand up with Nigel where we recapped on everything we did on day 1. Then we went into our Pyhon notebook. In the Python notebook we started to learn how to code. We did coding excercises that gradually got harder as we learned how to do more advanced coding. Once we finished that we went into lunch. After a 1 hour lunch break we used our skills that welearned in our Python notebook to do a challenge called cracking a million passwords.
